Shipping, Tracking & Cost Policy for Realis Authentic

At Realis Authentic, we are committed to providing our customers with a transparent and efficient shipping experience. Below is an overview of our shipping, tracking, and cost policies to help you understand how we handle your orders. 


All Realis Authentic brand products are made to order through a print-on-demand process. As a result, shipping costs are calculated as a percentage of the total order value, typically ranging from 10% to 17%.


1. Title of Products

By placing an order on RealisAuthentic.com, you acknowledge and agree that a destination contract is established between you (the customer) and Realis Authentic. Upon the completion of this transaction, the following terms will apply:


Transfer of Title and Risk of Loss

  • Title and Ownership: The title (ownership) of the products you purchase transfers to you, the customer, once the carrier delivers the products to the delivery address specified in your order. At that point, you assume full ownership of the goods.
  • Risk of Loss or Damage: Risk of loss for the products also transfers to you once the carrier has delivered the products to the specified address. This means you are responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction that occurs after delivery, even if you have not yet physically received or taken possession of the goods.


Responsibility After Delivery

  • Liability for Loss, Theft, or Damage: Once the carrier has confirmed delivery (through means such as a delivery receipt, tracking update, or signature confirmation), Realis Authentic will not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage that occurs to the products after they have been delivered. The customer assumes full responsibility for the product(s) once the delivery is confirmed.
  • Delivery Confirmation: We recommend ensuring that the recipient is available to receive the package at the time of delivery or arranging for delivery to a secure location (e.g., a front desk, concierge, or designated drop-off box). It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive the package.


Carrier Responsibility for Delivery Issues

  • Delivery Issues (Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages): In the event of issues such as a lost, stolen, or damaged package after the delivery has been confirmed by the carrier, Realis Authentic will not be responsible for resolving such matters. The customer must contact the carrier directly to report and resolve any delivery issues. If necessary, you may be required to file a claim with the carrier for lost or damaged items.
  • Carrier Contact Information: After your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information. This tracking number can be used to monitor the status of your shipment and to contact the carrier for resolution in case of issues.


Shipping Insurance (Optional)

  • Optional Shipping Insurance: To further protect your purchase, we offer the option to purchase shipping insurance at checkout for items that are high-value or for customers who are concerned about potential delivery-related issues. If shipping insurance is purchased, it may cover loss, theft, or damage that occurs during transit or after delivery.
  • Recommendation for Insurance: We highly recommend opting for shipping insurance for products of significant value, or if you live in an area where deliveries are commonly at risk of theft or damage. Shipping insurance coverage is provided by a third-party insurance provider and is subject to their terms and conditions.


Limitation of Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: By placing an order, you acknowledge that, once the products are delivered to the address you specified and the carrier has confirmed delivery, Realis Authentic will not be held liable for any subsequent loss, damage, theft, or destruction of the products. You agree to hold Realis Authentic harmless for any such incidents and understand that any claims for lost, damaged, or stolen products must be made directly with the carrier or through your shipping insurance provider.
  • Resolution Through Carrier: In the event of any delivery issues (e.g., damaged items, missing products, or theft), you agree to contact the carrier directly to resolve these matters. Realis Authentic LLC will assist by providing tracking information and delivery confirmation if required, but ultimate responsibility for addressing delivery issues rests with the carrier.


2. Cost of Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected shipping method, the size and weight of the items, and the destination address. Below are the details of how shipping costs may be determined:


Shipping Calculation Factors:

  • All Realis Authentic products are made to order through a print-on-demand process. As a result, shipping costs are calculated as a percentage of the total order value, typically ranging from 15% to 20%.
  • Order Value: Certain shipping methods may be based on the total purchase price of the order.
  • Item Size and Weight: Heavier or larger items may incur higher shipping charges due to their increased cost to transport.
  • Shipping Distance: Shipping fees may vary depending on the distance between the warehouse and the delivery location. Orders shipped internationally may incur additional duties, taxes, and customs fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
  • Selected Shipping Method: Shipping costs will vary depending on the chosen shipping method, which may include standard, expedited, or express options.


Complimentary Shipping:

  • In some cases, we may offer complimentary (free) shipping for specific products, categories, or order thresholds. Eligibility for free shipping will be explicitly indicated at the time of checkout.
  • Promotions and Offers: During special promotions or sales events, free shipping may be offered as part of a limited-time offer. All conditions and limitations will be communicated clearly on the website or at the time of purchase.


Shipping Cost Transparency:

  • Checkout Process: At checkout, customers will be presented with an accurate breakdown of all applicable shipping costs before finalizing the purchase. The total shipping charges will be clearly displayed and confirmed before the order is processed.
  • Finalized Shipping Costs: The confirmed shipping charges at checkout are final and may not be subject to change once the order is submitted, except in cases of error or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Estimated delivery timeframes will be provided based on the selected shipping method and destination. Please note that delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, particularly in cases of inclement weather or other factors beyond our control (e.g., carrier delays, holidays, etc.).
  • International Shipments: For international orders, delivery times and availability of specific shipping methods may vary. Additional duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by local governments are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the shipping cost.


Order Processing Time:

  • Orders will typically be processed within [1-3] business days after receipt of payment. Please note that processing times may be longer during peak periods, holidays, or in the event of high demand.


Refunds on Shipping:

  • If an order is returned, or in the event of a shipping error on our part, the shipping costs will be refunded in accordance with our returns and refund policy.
  • If a customer cancels an order before it is shipped, shipping fees may be refunded depending on the circumstances outlined in the cancellation policy.


Legal Compliance and Consumer Protection:

  • All shipping practices, including charges and delivery times, will comply with applicable U.S. federal and state regulations concerning shipping and consumer rights.
  • We reserve the right to modify our shipping costs or shipping policies at any time, but will notify customers of any changes through our website or during the checkout process.


3. Shipping Methods and Carriers

Additional import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.


Liability for Delays, Lost Packages, and Damages:

  • Post-Shipment Responsibility: Once your order has been shipped and the carrier has assumed responsibility for delivery, we are not liable for any delays, lost items, or damages that occur during transit. If there are issues with delivery (e.g., delays, damage to the product, or lost packages), you should contact the carrier directly to resolve the matter. We will assist with filing claims where applicable, but the final resolution is governed by the carrier’s policies.
  • Insurance: For high-value or fragile items, we may offer shipping insurance options at checkout. If you elect to purchase shipping insurance, it will cover the value of the item in the event of loss or damage during transit. If no insurance is selected, the customer assumes full responsibility for the risk of loss or damage once the package leaves our warehouse.


Changes to Shipping Methods or Carriers:

  • Right to Modify Shipping Options: We reserve the right to modify, change, or discontinue available shipping methods or carrier options at our discretion. Any changes to the available options will be communicated through updates on our website or during the checkout process.   • Not Responsible for Carrier Updates: Once your order has been handed over to the carrier, we are not responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of tracking information provided by the carrier. Any discrepancies or delays in tracking updates should be addressed directly with the carrier. We will assist where possible, but ultimate responsibility for tracking and delivery lies with the carrier.
  • Delivery Delays and Exceptions: Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be delayed due to factors beyond our control, including weather, customs, or other unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for any delays, damages, or issues caused by the carrier’s failure to meet the estimated delivery date.
  • Incorrect Tracking Information: In rare cases, the tracking number provided may be incorrect or not updated properly by the carrier. If this occurs, please reach out to our customer service team for assistance. However, we are not responsible for delays or issues resulting from incorrect or delayed updates from the carrier.
  • Shipping Insurance: If you selected shipping insurance (where available), you may be able to file a claim with the carrier in the event of a lost or damaged package. Our company is not liable for any damage or loss that occurs during transit, and customers must contact the carrier directly for claims related to these issues.


Customer Responsibility:

  • Monitoring Shipment: It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the tracking updates and ensure the order is delivered within the expected timeframe. If an order is marked as delivered but not received, the customer is advised to contact the carrier immediately for assistance. We will cooperate with the carrier’s investigation but are not responsible for items marked as "delivered" that are not received by the customer.
  • Delivery Address Accuracy: The customer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information, including the delivery address. We are not liable for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.


Limitations on Company Liability:

  • No Guarantee of Delivery Times: While we strive to provide accurate estimated delivery dates, we cannot guarantee that the carrier will meet these timelines due to external factors such as weather conditions, service disruptions, or customs delays. We are not responsible for any consequential damages or inconvenience resulting from delivery delays.
  • Force Majeure: Our company is not liable for delays or failure to fulfill orders resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, labor strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, or carrier service disruptions.


5. Delivery Issues

Once your order is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, the responsibility for the products is transferred to you, the customer. This includes all risk of loss, theft, or damage. Below are the details regarding what to do in the event of delivery issues:


Responsibility Transfer Upon Delivery:

  • Transfer of Risk: The risk of loss or damage to the products in your order passes to you once the carrier marks the package as "Delivered," regardless of whether the package was received by you personally. It is your responsibility to ensure the package is properly received and secured upon delivery.
  • Confirmation of Delivery: Delivery is confirmed by the carrier once tracking shows the order has been delivered to the address provided at the time of purchase. We are not liable for any claims related to packages once the carrier has marked the order as delivered.


In the Event of Delivery Issues (Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages):

  • Lost Packages: If your order is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, you should contact the carrier directly to initiate a trace. The carrier has procedures in place to investigate lost packages. We are not responsible for any lost packages once they are marked as delivered by the carrier. However, we can provide assistance by guiding you through the carrier's claim process.
  • Stolen Packages: In cases where your package has been stolen after delivery, you must file a report with the carrier and/or your local law enforcement. We are not responsible for stolen packages once the carrier confirms delivery. For added security, we recommend using a secure delivery location or requesting signature confirmation upon delivery.
  • Damaged Packages: If your package arrives damaged, you should immediately contact the carrier to file a damage claim. The carrier’s policies and procedures will govern the process for resolving claims related to damage during transit. Our company is not liable for damages that occur after the package has been marked as delivered. However, we will assist you in initiating a claim with the carrier if necessary.


Customer Assistance:

  • Customer Support: If you experience delivery issues (such as lost, stolen, or damaged packages), our customer service team is available to assist by providing guidance on how to proceed with filing a claim with the carrier. Please note that while we can guide you, we do not have control over the carrier’s investigation or resolution process.
  • Claim Filing Assistance: We will help facilitate the process by providing any necessary documentation or proof of shipment. However, the ultimate responsibility for resolving issues related to lost, stolen, or damaged packages lies with the carrier.


Legal Limitations and Liability:

  • No Liability for Post-Delivery Issues: Once the carrier confirms that the package has been delivered to the specified address, our company is not liable for any subsequent loss, theft, or damage. Any claims related to delivery issues must be directed to the carrier. Our role is limited to providing assistance, where possible, by guiding you through the claims process.
  • Insurance Option: If you are concerned about potential issues with delivery, we offer shipping insurance (where available) at checkout, which can provide protection against loss, damage, or theft during transit. If you decline this option, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for any risks related to the delivery once the package is marked as "Delivered."
